Join the Collective Voice for Action: Take the Pledge
We’re turning awareness into action. Share a photo online, post your commitment, and invite your network to join the campaign. Every pledge and story will appear on our website, demonstrating collective momentum across Canada’s STEM community.
Whether you’re part of a research lab, a company, a school, or a professional network, your voice adds power to the movement.
How to Participate:
- Take part by snapping a photo in one of our pledge poses or downloading our pledge graphic if you prefer not to show your face.
- Post it on Instagram, LinkedIn or Facebook
- Use the hashtags #WhatsNext and #LeadtheChange so your post appears on our website’s pledge wall
- Tag @SCWIST so we can see and share your post
- Nominate 2–3 people to keep the momentum going
Let’s work together, take action and end gender-based violence

I pledge to help create spaces where everyone feels safe, respected and heard. Gender-based violence still happens in STEM, so I’m joining @scwist.canada in asking #WhatsNext and taking action toward accountability. I’m tagging @X @Y @Z to join me and #LeadTheChange.
